Set in the stunning Watchung Reservation, this camp challenges campers to master essential outdoor survival skills in a hands-on, action-packed environment. Campers will tackle map and compass navigation, hike trails, locate and purify water, practice a variety of knot tying techniques, create and interpret emergency signals, and learn to respond to common wilderness emergencies, including an introduction to wilderness first aid. Campers end the week grilling their own hot dogs and toasting marshmallows for s'mores! Every day is an opportunity to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a deeper connection to the natural world, all while having an unforgettable outdoor adventure.

Camp-A-Palooza campers will build, create arts and crafts, explore S.T.E.A.M. experiments, play games as well as take local walking trips to the playground to local eateries in downtown Summit.
