Pre Camp and Post Camp keep the fun going with extra time to play, relax, and connect while giving parents the scheduling flexibility they need. Transportation takes the stress out of drop-off, making camp days easier from start to finish. For campers enrolled in Specialty Camps, Specialty Sidekick offers a smooth afternoon extension after their specialty program, with transportation included. Mix and match add-ons to build the perfect camp day and keep the excitement going all summer long.
Pre-Camp provides extended care before the camp day starts as early as 7:00 AM.
If your child is registered for a Specialty Camp, Pre-Camp must take place at the same location.
For full day campers, Pre-Camp includes morning bus transportation, if applicable, to either the Springfield Community Pool or Watchung Reservation from the Berkeley Heights YMCA or Summit YMCA. Please note, transportation is not provided between the Berkeley Heights YMCA and the Summit YMCA.
Post Camp provides extended care after the camp day ends through 6:30 PM.
If your child is registered for camp at the Springfield Community Pool, Post Camp must take place at the same location.
For full day campers, Post Camp includes afternoon bus transportation, if applicable, to either the Berkeley Heights YMCA or Summit YMCA from the Springfield Community Pool or Watchung Reservation. Please note, transportation is not provided between the Berkeley Heights YMCA and the Summit YMCA.
Morning and/or afternoon transportation is available to bring campers by bus to and/or from the Springfield Community Pool or Watchung Reservation from and/or to the Berkeley Heights YMCA or Summit YMCA. Specialty Sidekick extends the specialty morning camp day through 4:00 PM where campers spends their afternoon at the Summit YMCA, outdoors on the Summit Green playing field games or sports, and swimming on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Transportation for Specialty Sidekick is included between campsites.
