The Summit Area YMCA has a T-Ball program for youth ages 3-5. T-Ball classes provide a foundation and introduction to baseball that is rooted in fun, fitness, and fundamentals. Participants will learn the basic rules of the game, how to bat, throw and run bases.
Our sports lessons and clinics are designed to develop fundamental skills while learning game rules, strategy, sportsmanship and teamwork. Players will learn batting, throwing, and catching techniques along with various exercises and warmups to build up their endurance. Clinics run at both the Summit YMCA and Berkeley Heights YMCA.

To ensure the highest level of safety for our members and children, we are very careful with our employee and volunteer selection. Most volunteer positions will require your completion of new volunteer paperwork and online training, along with reference checks and your approval for a criminal background check.
