Every Memorial Day, we thoughtfully observe and recognize the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces. These community gatherings provide a solemn yet unifying opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and remembrance. Activities often include flag ceremonies, moments of silence, and opportunities for families to connect and share in the spirit of remembrance. The Y’s Memorial Day observances reinforce its commitment to honoring those who have served and fostering a sense of community and shared respect for the freedoms enjoyed by all.
