National Advocacy Days bring Y leaders from across the country to Washington, DC, where they learn about Y-USA’s legislative priorities, gain a deeper understanding of
what it means to be a Y advocate and meet with their elected officials to discuss important
issues to Ys and the communities they serve.

The day is dedicated to raising awareness about cancer and its prevention. Particularly, brands in health and pharma can fund relevant themes to
associate with this day.

According to research, more than 40 percent of all cancers diagnosed can be linked to preventable causes—with one of those causes being physical inactivity. Use this
