Diabetes Alert Day is a good time to remind members and your community about the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program and/or
provide tips to help live a healthier lifestyle.

It is celebrated annually and each year draws attention to a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world.

National Library Week is a week-long celebration highlighting the importance of libraries in encouraging people to read. Encourage families to visit
their local libraries and use this opportunity to promote
any local Y programming related to reading or storytelling.

Clean up Village Green in Summit

Use 5 Days of Action week to raise awareness and inspire adults to take action to protect children from sexual abuse.

During National Volunteer Month, promote opportunities for members and
neighbors to give back by volunteering
through the Y and/or community partners, and take the time to thank and recognize volunteers.

On Earth Day, demonstrate social and environmental responsibility by promoting your Y’s green initiatives. Connect youth to
environmental camps and programs that support a healthy
environment.

Join us for the Summit Area YMCA's Annual Celebration, a night dedicated to community, achievement, and shared goals. This special event is set to unfold at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the elegant Primavera Regency in Stirling. It's an evening where we come together to honor the incredible individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact in our community.
