OUR TEAM

The Learning Lane Childcare Center is a nurturing and comprehensive early childhood program, offering care for preschoolers, Pre-K, and Pre-K Wrap children. Our dedicated team is trained in the cognitive, physical, and social development of young children and understands the importance of creating an environment where kids feel connected, supported, and encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. We also recognize the vital role that families play in supporting their child’s development, and we strive to create a caring and collaborative atmosphere for both children and families.

The safety and well-being of your child is our top priority. Our team consists of experienced educators and caregivers who are passionate about early childhood development. All staff members undergo thorough reference and background checks to ensure the highest level of trust and safety. Additionally, all staff are certified in infant and adult CPR and First Aid, ensuring that your child will receive immediate and effective care if needed.

VP of Early Childhood Education

Having the privilege to help set the foundation for children’s early learning and development is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role. Seeing the happy faces of our youngest members each day as they learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment brings me a sense of joy. I’m incredibly grateful to work for an organization that allows me to witness the positive impact it has on families within the community every day.

BH Learning Lane Childcare Director

Growing up with a mother who relied on YMCA childcare, I saw firsthand how vital these programs are to families. Over the years, I’ve gone from being a participant to volunteering, counseling, and stepping into leadership roles. The Y has given me the chance to impact others while discovering more about myself. I’m passionate about supporting youth, knowing our efforts today shape a better future. So many people have a Y story, and I hope to help make yours just as memorable as mine.

All of our early education programs at the Y implement The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos and The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool. These are state-approved, research-based curriculums that consist of 38 objectives our teachers use for planning and assessment. The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos supports teachers in creating both routines and individual experiences for our little ones. The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool helps teachers build on children's confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills, while promoting positive outcomes through studies, which are hands-on, project based investigations.
