Open House – Non-members can use our facilities at no cost for the entire week. We hope that you enjoy what the Y has to offer!

Family Swim – There will be additional family swim times during Welcome Week. Please visit the SAY app or click below to view.

Friday, September 13: 

LOL Charity Auction – Registration for this event is closed, however, you can still join in on the fun!  The silent auction room is open, bid on items here:

Saturday, September 14: 

Cardio World Dance Pop-Up Class: Join Shehata at the Summit YMCA Triangle Room from 8:15-9:00 AM to learn Latin rhythms such as Reggaeton, Cumbia, Brazilian funk, and more. 

Summit YMCA Teen Center Open House: Families and teens can learn about the Teen Center and try out the activities from 12:00 – 3:00 PM. Enjoy video games, computers, board games, and more! No registration required.

Sunday, September 15: 

Family Puppy Yoga (ages 10+): Relax with some furry friends from 12:00-1:00 PM at the Berkeley Heights YMCA Group Ex Studio. Registration is closed.

Tuesday, September 17: 

Cardio Latin Dance: 9:15 – 10:15 AM at the Berkeley Heights YMCA with Carolina H. 

Wednesday, September 18: 

Multi-Cultural Event at the Berkeley Heights YMCA:

  • Potluck: Join us from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM in celebration of cultural diversity by bringing your favorite dish! Deepti will have an interactive yoga, essential oils, and spices table that you can visit.
  • Cardio Salsa Class: Carolina H. will be leading a Latin dance class. 
  • Bollywood Dance: Deepti will lead a Bollywood dance session.
  • Senior Social w/ Flutist: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM hosted by Bulbul B.

Friday, September 20: 

Couples Night Out Yoga (and free childcare!) – Join us 6:00-7:00 PM at the Summit YMCA for yoga with Katie B. While you relax with your partner, enjoy the comfort of knowing your child has great care in Kids Zone.

BollyX Pop-Up: 5:30 – 6:15 PM at the Berkeley Heights YMCA Group Ex Studio.

Saturday, September 21: 

Zumba Party: Join Zulma and Jocelyn at Berkeley Heights YMCA Studio, 9:15-10:05 AM to learn Latin rhythms such as Reggaeton, Cumbia, Brazilian funk, and more. 

Sunday, September 22: 

Family Yoga (all ages): Join us at 10:15-11:15 AM at the Berkeley Heights Mind Body Studio for a relaxing time with family, where Cora T. will lead a yoga class.

Blood Drive: Save a life and donate blood between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Berkeley Heights YMCA.

Water Safety Presentation: From 9:00-10:00 AM, take a stroll to the Buntin Pool at the Summit YMCA, where you’ll learn tips and tricks to keeping your children safe around water.

Monday, September 23: 

Information Tables at the Food Distribution: Want to learn more about our mission? Visit between 9:00-11:00 AM in front of the Summit YMCA to see our food distribution in action, and talk to staff from different parts of our organization!

Please note that the section of Maple Street closest to the Summit YMCA will be closed from approximately 7 AM to 11 AM on Sunday, May 5, for our Mother’s Day 5K. Please use Cedar Street to access the public lot that is next to our building.
