Thanksgiving Food Distribution at the Summit YMCA
When: Friday, November 17
Time: 10:30 AM
Where: Morristown City Hall, 200 South St., Morristown
We need volunteers who can pick up the turkeys, chickens, hams, and holiday boxes at Morristown City Hall, 200 South St., Morristown, at 10:30 AM and deliver them to the Summit YMCA. If you can help, please fill out our volunteer waiver here. Then, sign up using this link.
Family Pack Program
When: Thursdays
Time: 1:00 PM
Where: 67 Maple St, Summit, NJ 07901
We are seeking volunteers to pick up family packs of food and produce at the Summit YMCA on Thursdays at 1:00 PM and deliver to Summit Public Schools.
Children in our local school systems who are enrolled in the free or reduced-price school meals program may not have access to meals over the weekend. Volunteers help prevent food insecurity in our community by delivering these meals to Summit Public Schools, who will discreetly place in the child’s backpack.

Senior Spa Day
When: Saturday, November 11
Time: 1:00 – 2:00 PM
(Senior Spa Day is held once per month. Please feel free to sign up for future spa dates.)
Where: Senior Housing Center, 12 Chestnut Street, Summit
We are looking for volunteers to help with Senior Spa Day this Saturday, November 11. Volunteers will provide light manicures and gentle hand massages to our neighborhood seniors to help brighten their day.
We are also looking for volunteers who love to bake. We like to offer the seniors some treats to enjoy during spa day, so anyone who wants to help out can sign up here:
