Sunshine, Smiles, and Savings: Outdoor Pool Registration

You might refer to them as pools, but we like to think of them as oases within our community. Registration for the Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA and the Springfield Community Pool are open. Both pools are undergoing exciting changes, and with our new All-Access membership, you can enjoy both all summer long.

At Berkeley Heights, we heard from you, our members, and we are adding beautiful expanses of greenspace and a snack shack for the 2024 season.  That means that you can look forward to grabbing food in between swims and picnic by our Olympic-size pool with your friends and family this summer. Between the greenery, long stretches of lap swim, and trips down the waterslide, you’ll feel like you’re a million miles away at this community hub.

In Springfield, you can expect the same wide-open spaces and top-notch food options in addition to a completely resurfaced pool that awaits our endless splashes and laughter. When you’ve had your fill of sunshine, you can always head into the shade for board games, Bingo, and camaraderie that will keep you coming back for more.

With two amazing options, why choose one? You can get access to both at a discounted rate with an All-Access membership to the Summit Area YMCA, which also provides you with year-long fun at our state-of-the-art fitness facilities, group exercise classes, indoor pools, and more.

Early bird rates end Thursday, February 29. Register now, and we’ll see you at the Summit Area YMCA this summer!

SUMMIT AREA YMCA

BERKELEY HEIGHTS YMCA | SUMMIT YMCA | THE LEARNING CIRCLE YMCA

In 1886, we were founded as the Young Men’s Christian Association, but today, we are The Y; an association that values, and is made stronger by, its diverse people. We stand for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility — For a better us. We are committed to creating equal opportunity for all regardless of gender, age, disability, income, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive culture in which our four core values — responsibility, honesty, caring and respect — are integral to everyday operations.

Each year, as one of the area’s leading 501(c)3 charitable organizations, the Summit Area YMCA serves more than 15,000 individuals with our free and fee-based programs and services in an area spanning the New Jersey communities of Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Millburn, New Providence, Short Hills, Springfield, Stirling and Summit. Our history is rooted in working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and partners, we are able to offer financial assistance for our programs and services to those in need.

Please note that the section of Maple Street closest to the Summit YMCA will be closed from approximately 7 AM to 11 AM on Sunday, May 5, for our Mother’s Day 5K. Please use Cedar Street to access the public lot that is next to our building.
