As we head into the holidays, our community is coming together to move with gratitude. Join us throughout November for a special lineup of Group Exercise events designed to uplift the mind, body, and spirit while giving back to those in need.

Sunday, November 16 | 12:00–1:00 PM
Puppy Yoga – Berkeley Heights YMCA
Unwind and smile as you flow through gentle yoga surrounded by adorable, adoptable puppies. This event supports the Home for Good Dogs Rescue in Berkeley Heights.

Yin Yoga Meditation with Laurie S. – Berkeley Heights YMCA
Find stillness and peace through deep stretching and guided meditation that encourages reflection and gratitude.

Saturday, November 22 | 7:15–8:15 AM
Cycle for Hunger with “Your Faves” – Berkeley Heights YMCA
Pedal with purpose! This energetic cycling session supports our community hunger initiatives.

Monday, November 24 | 6:45–7:30 PM
Yin Yoga for a Thankful Heart – Berkeley Heights YMCA
Center yourself in gratitude with a restorative yoga flow that focuses on mindfulness and compassion.

Since group size is limited, reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations are available – one week prior to class – through the SAY Mobile App or our Online Schedules.

Weekend of Giving: Move for a Cause

On November 29 & 30, all Group Exercise classes will be collecting non-perishable food donations to support families in need during the December holidays.

Your workout can make a real difference—help us spread warmth and care this season through movement and generosity.

Let’s come together, move with purpose, and celebrate the Season of Thanks at the Y!

Goods We’re Looking For:

Peanut butter, Jelly, Tea bags, Coffee, Powdered coffee creamer, Flour, Sugar, Brown sugar, Olive oil, Canola oil, Vegetable oil, Boxed stuffing, Instant mashed potatoes, Brown or wild rice, Rice-A-Roni, Pasta-Roni, Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, Spices, Pasta, Spaghetti sauce, Cranberry sauce, Canned pumpkin, Canned ham (or SPAM), Canned yams or canned sweet potatoes, French fried onions (dry container), Canned cream of mushroom soup, Ready-to-eat meals, Boxed muffin mix, Macaroni and cheese, Boxed pie crust, Canned pie filling, Dessert mix (pumpkin pie mix, brownie mix, cake mix, icing, etc.), Boxed or packaged cookie mix, Boxed pudding and Jello mix, Trail mix, Shelf-stable cartons of milk, Packets or jars of gravy mix, Iced tea mix, Bottled juice, Hot cocoa mix, Apple cider that doesn’t need to be refrigerated.

Please note that the section of Maple Street closest to the Summit YMCA will be closed from approximately 7 AM to 11 AM on Sunday, May 5, for our Mother’s Day 5K. Please use Cedar Street to access the public lot that is next to our building.
