Davon, a teacher at The Learning Circle YMCA, just so happens to have spent eight years serving our country, and he was happy to share his experience and read to the children.
Having encountered a ton of remarkable individuals during his military career, Davon is grateful that he can still call them his close friends.
Reflecting on his journey, Davon cherished his boot camp experience as a fond memory, where he was broken down and rebuilt with the fundamental core values of teamwork, courage, and integrity.
At The Learning Circle YMCA, Davon discovers a familiar sense of camaraderie and purpose, engaging in activities that emphasize teamwork and a shared commitment to helping others. In this community, much like the military, he continues to embody the ethos of service, fostering an environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute and thrive.

Our history is rooted in working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
