At the Summit Area YMCA, we want every visit to be comfortable, convenient, and worry-free. To support members and guests during their time in the building, we offer complimentary key lock loans while you are at the Summit YMCA.

This service is available to members, guests, and Nationwide YMCA members who do not currently rent a locker. Borrowing a lock allows you to safely secure your belongings while you enjoy your workout, class, swim, or program.

To borrow a lock, participants simply leave a valid photo ID with our Welcome Center team. IDs are securely stored and returned when the lock is brought back. Locks should be returned the same day before leaving the facility.

This complimentary option is separate from our paid locker rental service, which provides members with a dedicated locker for ongoing use.
