This week at the Summit Area YMCA, we gathered to celebrate the staff whose 5–40 years of service have shaped our Y in ways big and small. Their dedication shows up in the moments members feel the most supported: the warm welcomes at the front desk, the trusted care offered in our childcare spaces, the encouragement shared in wellness sessions, and the steady, behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything moving.
Our honorees remind us what it looks like to be rooted in purpose, to champion community, and to create endless impact simply by showing up with heart day after day. Over the decades, they’ve built a legacy of leadership, demonstrated dedication that endures, and inspired generations of good. Every smile, every solved problem, every act of care has strengthened this place. The Y feels like home because of the people who choose to pour themselves into it year after year.
