We are beyond excited to introduce the Summit Area YMCA’s Adaptive Theater Program, a brand-new opportunity for individuals with diverse abilities aged 13 to 24 to take center stage, express themselves, and discover the joy of theater—all at no cost!

Why Join?
This isn’t just about acting—it’s about building confidence, sparking creativity, and connecting with others. Whether you’ve always wanted to perform or are just looking for a new way to express yourself, this program is designed to meet you where you are and help you shine.

Program Details:

  • Who: Open to everyone from ages 13 to 24.
  • When: Tuesdays, February 4 – April 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM.
  • Where: Springfield Community Pool,
    44 Morrison Road, Springfield, NJ 07081.

Led by instructors experienced in adaptive programming, each class is tailored to ensure every participant feels supported and valued. Whether it’s through improvisation games, storytelling, or learning stagecraft, this is a chance to build skills that extend beyond the stage.

Please note that the section of Maple Street closest to the Summit YMCA will be closed from approximately 7 AM to 11 AM on Sunday, May 5, for our Mother’s Day 5K. Please use Cedar Street to access the public lot that is next to our building.
