The Special Needs Programs at the Summit Area YMCA are thoughtfully designed for children with communication, social, behavioral and learning differences to thrive in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. Our mission is to encourage, help, build and strengthen healthy physical activity, confidence, social skills and more. From yoga to structured play dates, to swim arts and crafts, participants can enjoy a variety of activities that promote health, wellness, creative enrichment, socialization and more.

(AGES 14-21)  AWESOME AFTERNOON - NEW!
BH | WKS: 5 | 1 PM - 4 PM

Awesome Afternoon is a five day camp designed for Special Needs students in High School. Each afternoon we will play sports, complete an art project, learn a new skill and play some team games! One day during the week we will take a trip somewhere within the community with our peers. Join us for our first Awesome Afternoon Camp! This camp will feature a small camper to counselor ratio to ensure each individual child's needs are met by our highly qualified staff. Limited space available.
