DESCRIPTION:Mother’s Day 5K is BACK!\n\n\n\nWe are delighted to share the exciting news that the Summit Area YMCA is reintroducing a cherished springtime tradition\, the Mother’s Day 5K. This event serves as a wonderful occasion to unite families and community members from the surrounding areas in celebration of the mothers or special individuals in our lives. Anticipation is high\, and we look forward to a fantastic turnout. In the pre-COVID era\, we witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 1\,000 individuals during this event. As we prepare to host it once again\, we are eager to see many of the familiar faces come back and meet new faces too! \n\n\n\nEstablished in 1886\, the Summit Area YMCA stands for youth development\, healthy living\, and social responsibility. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone\, regardless of gender\, age\, disability\, or income. Funds raised from the 5K will directly benefit the community by providing financial assistance to those in need for childcare\, camp programs\, health\, and wellness resources\, and more.
