interested in becoming a Volunteer Coach?

We'd love to have you! The Summit Area YMCA is a cause-driven, volunteer-led organization. Our volunteers are advocates for a better tomorrow. We view them as shining examples of social responsibility selflessly sharing their time, talent and treasure to advance the Y’s cause and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families locally.

All interested volunteers will be asked to fill out an application. Once your application is received, it will be forwarded to the Branch Volunteer Coordinator at your preferred location who will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your interests and schedule an interview. To ensure the highest level of safety for our members and children, we are very careful with our employee and volunteer selection. Most volunteer positions will require your completion of new volunteer paperwork, online training, reference checks and your approval for a criminal background check. Please contact us directly for more information.
