Small Group Training

 

 

Move beyond the basics by working with a personal trainer/coach and receive personalized attention in a small group format at the Summit YMCA!

Small group training is a fun, effective and affordable way to reach your fitness goals. Our nationally recognized certified trainers lead these groups focusing on individual strengths, goals and fitness levels of the participants. While closed group sessions generally last six weeks, we also offer Small Group Training drop-in classes - for only $15! Class descriptions can be found below. Join with your friends or make new ones. If you don’t see a Small Group that works for you, click here to join a private group or start your own (minimum of 4 required)! 

Schedules for Small Group Training drop-in classes at the Summit YMCA are available online through our class schedules and in print at the front desk. We also offer specialized Small Group Training class series throughout the year. Please contact us for more information on upcoming classes.


CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

    • Barre ReBound: 
      Low impact barre movements using a trampoline for cardio intervals - $15
    • Teen Strength & Conditioning:
      For all levels, learn the basics of conditioning exercises in a small group setting - $15
    • Indoor Rowing:
      Full Body, low impact cardio workout. Rowing is considered one of the top 5 calorie burning workouts. Can burn up to 500-700 calories in one class - $15

CLASS SCHEDULES

 

Sessions are:

• 45 minutes in length
• Limited to a maximum of 8 participants (depending on the format)
• Designed and led by the YMCA Personal Trainer/Coaches

Since group size is limited, pre-reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations are available - two weeks prior - through the SAY Mobile App or our Online Schedules tab. Payments can be made at the front desk. Please arrive a few minutes early for payment.

SPECIAL SMALL GROUP TRAINING CLASS SERIES

Stretch, Roll & Restore:
Enhance your flexibility, maintain your body’s youthfulness, prevent injuries and relieve stress with Stretch, Roll & Restore at the Summit YMCA. This effective and relaxing 6-week class series guides you through stretching techniques, self-massage and myofascial release using foam rollers and massage balls.
