Swim Team Tryouts Ages 6-18 for 2017-2018

Join the Summit Area YMCA Swim Team Community and participate as a team in YMCA meets and championships! The Y helps athletes develop their talents in and out of the pool, with an emphasis on not only competitive swimming, but encourages hard work, dedication, team skills and more. Join today!

When: Tuesday July 25th, 2017

makeup date: tuesday, september 5, 2017

cost: $25 to tryout

Pre-registration at Summit YMCA Member Services desk. Registration also accepted on day of tryouts.

AGES 8 & UNDER 5:00PM

5:30PM Swimmers will swim 25y of all 4 competitive strokes

AGES 9 & 10 6:00PM 6:30PM  Swimmers will swim 50y of all 4 competitive strokes
AGE 11 & 12 7:00PM 7:30PM  Swimmers will swim 50y of all 4 competitive strokes
AGE 13 – 18 7:00PM 7:30PM Swimmers will swim 100y of all 4 competitive strokes

FOR ACCEPTED SWIMMERS TO SUMMIT AREA YMCA SWIM TEAM:

  • $100 deposit is due by JULY 31
  • Practices begin SEPTEMBER 11
  • Payment must be received in full by SEPTEMBER 9

Please note that the Hurst Pool at the Summit YMCA will be closed on Sunday, March 31, 2024 and will reopen on Monday, April 8, 2024 due to regularly scheduled maintenance. Group Ex Pro will reflect amended aquatics schedules.
