Each year, we serve more than 15,000 individuals with our free and fee-based programs and services in an area spanning the communities of Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Millburn, New Providence, Short Hills, Springfield, Stirling and Summit.

Our brand new, state-of-the-art Olympic-sized (50m x 25m), outdoor, heated outdoor pool, complete with a water slide, two diving boards and plenty of lanes for lap swimmers! We also have a kiddie pool for our youngest water explorers, conveniently located near a fenced in playground. In addition, the Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA is surrounded by beautiful grounds and landscaping.

The Learning Circle YMCA offers quality childcare and early education for children as young as six weeks through kindergarten. We dedicate ourselves to developing the potential of every child so that they are healthy, confident, secure, and connected. All programs accommodate full day, complete or partial week schedules as well as extended hours for working parents.

Open through Labor Day, the Springfield Community Pool, which spans over 15 acres, provides its members with a spacious main pool, kiddie pool, water slide, diving board, lounge chairs, playground, picnic area, basketball and volleyball courts, large multi-purpose room (available for rentals), locker rooms, showers and more, to enjoy leisure, free swim, lap swim, aquatic exercise, summer day camp, swim lessons, swim team and social events.

Association Services is the “behind-the-scenes” administrative office of the Summit Area YMCA that supports our staff, volunteers, members, branches, charitable giving opportunities, and special events.
