Not sure how to bid on auction items? Don't worry, here are step-by-step instructions on how to sign into the online silent auction portal, bid on items in person, how to donate to the Y, receiving your auction item, and frequently asked questions to ensure you are confident and ready to bid on these fabulous items!

LIVE AUCTION

HOW DO I BID IN-PERSON WHILE AT THE EVENT? 

To place your bid, raise your booklet so the auctioneer can see your bidding number. The auctioneer will let bidders know what the current bid is and announce when an item has been sold.

CREATE YOUR BIDDING ACCOUNT

Create or sign in to your Bidpal account by visiting www.thesay.org/bid and signing in with email, Facebook, or Google. Please note a credit or debit card is required to complete all bids, purchases or donations.

HOW DO I FIND ITEMS?

You can find items by pressing any one of the buttons on the main menu or by using the search bar to find a specific item or category.

 

WHERE ARE THE ITEMS I BID ON?

Items you have bid on can be found at:
Menu > Your Activity

 

WAS I OUTBID?

You’ll receive a text message when you’ve been outbid. Alternatively, navigate to Your Activity to check the status of your bids.

 

WHEN DOES THE AUCTION END?

The auction ends at 10:25 p.m.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

do i have to PURCHASE a ticket to bid on silent auction items?

No! While we'd love for you to join us at the event, the silent auction item is open to everyone!

 

HOW DO I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT?

Click on Menu > Your Account or the icon in the top right hand corner to manage your profile, view bidding activity, donation receipts, and to add or remove a credit/debit card.

 

HOW TO I DONATE TOWARDS A SCHOLARSHIP?

Click on the donation page and select the scholarship of your choice. Then click on the dollar amount to complete your donation.

 

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY AUCTION ITEM?

Please stop by the checkout table in the lobby before you leave to claim
any prizes you won!
