Are you a cycling enthusiast who happens to be a dad or simply someone looking to honor their dad in a special way? At Summit Area YMCA, we have a perfect celebration planned this Father's Day month. Join us for our exciting "Cycling Ride for Dads" event, a high-energy, community-oriented celebration of fatherhood and fitness. This cycling extravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, June 3, at our vibrant Berkeley Heights YMCA facility.
You can experience the thrill of cycling for up to two hours under the careful guidance of our four expert instructors. Kick-start your morning with Courtney at 8 am, followed by a ride with Stewart at 8:35 am. Stephanie will lead the next ride at 9:10 am, and Linda will bring the event to a conclusion with the last ride at 9:45 am. You have the flexibility to choose one, two, three, or all four 30-minute rides, with a convenient 5-minute transition period between instructors.
Our Cycling Ride for Dads event provides the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, meet other cycling enthusiasts, and enjoy the power of the Summit Area YMCA community. If you love cycling, variety, and music, you definitely won't want to miss out on this event. It's not just about the workout – it's about enjoying the community spirit, honoring our dads, and starting the day off with an energizing spin!
Don't forget to reserve your spot early as spaces are likely to fill up quickly. And remember, you don't have to be a dad to participate - this event is for anyone and everyone who wants to celebrate dads in a unique way this June.

In 1886, we were founded as the Young Men's Christian Association, but today, we are The Y. An association that values, and is made stronger by, its diverse people. We stand for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility — For a better us. We are committed to creating equal opportunity for all regardless of gender, age, disability, income, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive culture in which our four core values — responsibility, honesty, caring and respect — are integral to everyday operations.
Each year, as one of the area’s leading 501(c)3 charitable organizations, the Summit Area YMCA serves more than 15,000 individuals with our free and fee-based programs and services in an area spanning the New Jersey communities of Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Millburn, New Providence, Short Hills, Springfield, Stirling and Summit. Our history is rooted in working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and partners, we are able to offer financial assistance for our programs and services to those in need.
