Get ready, Berkeley Heights and Springfield! The Summit Area YMCA is thrilled to announce the exciting return of our summer swim team tryouts. The Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA Berkeley Breakers Swim Team and the Springfield Community Pool Swim Team are gearing up for another stellar season, and we want you to be a part of the splash!
We had an absolute blast last summer at our state-of-the-art Olympic-sized outdoor pool, and we can't wait for the 2023 season to make an even bigger splash. Our Berkeley Breakers Swim Team competes in the North Jersey Summer Swim League - Division 3, swimming against fierce and friendly competition from Mountainside, Morris Township, Verona, and Maplewood.
From beginners to seasoned swimmers, we welcome everyone ages 6-17 to join our team, regardless of ability or prior experience. Our dedicated coaches are committed to fostering an environment of personal excellence, honesty, and commitment, all while helping each swimmer achieve their highest potential.

Calling all water lovers in Springfield! Are you ready to dive into a summer filled with fun and friendly competition? The Springfield Community Pool Swim Team is excited to welcome new and returning swimmers for a fantastic season of swimming.
Our team is open to youth ages 6-17, and our coaches strive to help each swimmer maximize their abilities through specialized training and competition. We believe in creating a positive environment that encourages personal growth, honesty, and commitment to the sport.
