Kick It Up A Notch: 2023 Youth Kickball League

GET YOUR KIDS ACTIVE

The Summit Area YMCA invites parents and caregivers to register their kids for our 2023 Youth Kickball League, specifically designed for children ages 4-8. Our program aims to help kids develop their gross-motor skills, catching and throwing a ball, running bases, and fielding while fostering their confidence, social skills, and a love for physical activity and teamwork.

Our non-competitive approach prioritizes fun and participation over the competition, and our experienced coaches are dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels welcome and valued. Through kickball, kids will also learn important life skills such as sportsmanship, communication, and teamwork.

The safe, spacious, and clean environment of our program is perfect for kids to run around and have fun with friends while learning and growing. By enrolling your child in our Youth Kickball League, you are investing in their physical, social, and emotional well-being, and setting them on a positive path for future sports and activities.

Registration is currently open, but spots are filling up fast, so don't wait to secure your child's spot in this fantastic program. Contact the Summit Area YMCA today for more information and enrollment details. We can't wait to see your child on the field, having fun and growing!

SUMMIT AREA YMCA

BERKELEY HEIGHTS YMCA | SUMMIT YMCA | THE LEARNING CIRCLE YMCA

In 1886, we were founded as the Young Men's Christian Association, but today, we are The Y. An association that values and is made stronger by, its diverse people. We stand for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility — For a better us. We are committed to creating equal opportunity for all regardless of gender, age, disability, income, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive culture in which our four core values — responsibility, honesty, caring, and respect — are integral to everyday operations.

Each year, as one of the area’s leading 501(c)3 charitable organizations, the Summit Area YMCA serves more than 15,000 individuals with our free and fee-based programs and services in an area spanning the New Jersey communities of Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Millburn, New Providence, Short Hills, Springfield, Stirling, and Summit. Our history is rooted in working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and partners, we are able to offer financial assistance for our programs and services to those in need.
