The Summit Area YMCA is always looking to offer our members more personalized options for their favorite classes. To meet the high popularity and demand, we're pleased to announce the addition of a new option for those interested in a more personalized Pilates workout. Personal Pilates Training! We now offer Pilates 1-on-1 sessions for those who want to take their Pilates workout to the next level. 

The new option for those interested in Pilates & personal 1 on 1 training will allow them to have an individualized training session with a trainer at their own pace. This option can be beneficial for those who have injuries or physical limitations that prevent them from participating in group classes. This is also perfect for those who are not able to make it into our studio during the day, or when you just want some personalized attention from your trainer.

About Pilates 

Pilates is a form of low-impact full-body exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Each session will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Clients can expect the moves to involve slow, precise movements and breath control in a one-on-one setting.
