Fitness Festivus!

Be a part of our Holiday Challenge and win gifts starting December 26! The holidays are a time for family, friends, and fun. The Summit Area YMCA is here to help you jump into the holiday season with our Fitness Festivus! A Bingo-inspired challenge that gives you the opportunity to experience what the SAY has to offer! This challenge is a great way to get in shape, stay active, rediscover happiness, and have some harmless competition.

HOW TO PLAY:

1. Register here (select your home branch)
2. Visit the membership desk at the Berkeley Heights YMCA or Summit YMCA and pickup your Fitness Festivus Holiday Card
3. Complete ALL 12 challenges!
4. Drop off your completed Holiday Card at the membership desk by January 8 to be entered into a raffle

CHALLENGES INCLUDE:

  • Attend a Sprint8 class
  • Attend a Yoga or Tai Chi practice
  • Meet a floor supervisor
  • Meet a SAY director
  • Bring a friend to the Y (Non-members must bring in a photo ID and sign a guest waiver)
  • Complete an InBody assessment
  • Take a New Year's Eve or Day class
  • Take any group exercise class
  • Take one of the following: Tone/Core/Pilates/Barre Class
  • Spin or Swim
  • Check-in to both branches
  • Follow the Summit Area YMCA on Instagram or Facebook


Three winners will be selected on January 9! Let the festivus begin!
