Summit YMCA Offers Enhance® Fitness Class for Seniors

Exercising regularly as we age can help prevent chronic age-related conditions like diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, and more as well as boost memory and brain health. Summit Area YMCA offers fitness classes designed to motivate older adults to stay physically active while increasing their strength, balance and flexibility while having fun too! The Y believes in healthy aging for the spirit, mind and body for all ages and fitness levels.


Enhance® Fitness is a 16-week senior fitness program designed to enhance balance and flexibility through modified moves that include cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and more to help adults lead stronger, healthier lives. A typical 60 minute class includes a combination of warm up, aerobic, strength training, stretching, and cool down exercises.

              Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
TIME:    12 Noon- 1 PM
COST:    Free –Members; $63 per month/4 months – Community
