Town Residents Welcome to SAY Community Pools This Weekend

In consideration of the heat wave this weekend, the Y is relaxing it's guest pass rules to allow residents of Berkeley Heights & Springfield to purchase day passes to visit the Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA and the Springfield Community Pool from Friday, July 22 through Sunday, July 24.

As an addendum to the current guest pass policy, there are no restrictions on the total number of visits this weekend.

Day passes are available for purchase online only and must be purchased in advance to arrival at the pool.

-Weekend day passes are available for $20 per person.
-Happy hour day passes are available after 5:00 PM for $10 per person.
-Free entry for children under 2 years of age.

Please note: each guest is required to register at the pool entrance upon each visit, show photo identification and sign the Summit Area YMCA guest waiver. To save time at check-in, please have your guest complete the waiver in advance. The waiver only has to be completed once.

Guest waiver

For guests under 18 years of age, their guest waiver must be signed by their legal guardian and a responsible adult is required to complete their registration at the pool entrance and accompany them.

In 1886, we were founded as the Young Men's Christian Association, but today, we are The Y. An association that values, and is made stronger by, its diverse people. We stand for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility — For a better us. We are committed to creating equal opportunity for all regardless of gender, age, disability, income, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive culture in which our four core values — responsibility, honesty, caring and respect — are integral to everyday operations.

Each year, as one of the area’s leading 501(c)3 charitable organizations, the Summit Area YMCA serves more than 15,000 individuals with our free and fee-based programs and services in an area spanning the New Jersey communities of Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Millburn, New Providence, Short Hills, Springfield, Stirling and Summit. Our history is rooted in working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and partners, we are able to offer financial assistance for our programs and services to those in need.
