Join us on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 7:00PM-8:00PM for our first ever Virtual Annual Campaign Kickoff! Together, we'll learn about how the Summit Area YMCA (SAY) changes lives every day and strengthens the foundations of community—especially through times of critical need.
Enjoy impactful Y stories, test your knowledge with some Y trivia, win fantastic prizes and help us raise funds to reach our goal of $375,000 to support the SAY’s financial assistance program. While membership fees cover operating expenses, the financial assistance program is funded completely by donations to the Annual Campaign and ensures that the Y can be available to all, regardless of financial circumstance. Our mission at the Y is to provide opportunities for every individual to be able to discover and reach their full potential, in a welcoming and supportive environment. To do that, we depend on the generosity of our staff, volunteers, community partners and members so that we may offer financial assistance to those most in need.
In 2020, the Summit Area YMCA was able to provide essential child care to over 105 children, more than 4,450 meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity, and over 600 free virtual classes, thanks to the support of the community, selfless volunteers and Y staff.

That’s why we’re especially excited for the Annual Campaign Kickoff—to bring us all together in support of one another through the Y’s programs.” said Kaitlin Casey, Vice President of Advancement at the Summit Area YMCA. "More than ever, the Y needs our community's support so that we can continue to deliver our mission of serving all. Our financial assistance program helps our neighbors who are struggling, helps the underserved access important resources like food, a healthy lifestyle, childcare services and more. When we work together, we're stronger and our future is brighter."
When you support the Y's Annual Campaign, you are supporting a local community member and helping to transform their life for the better. From helping cancer survivors recover, preparing teens for college, providing childcare for essential workers, and more—your gift is helping someone to access programs and services that will help them to learn, grow and thrive.
The Y has already received over $32,000 in commitments, the majority of which were donated by Y staff who are passionate about the Y’s community impact.
