TIME: 8:00AM until we run out!
WHEN: Saturday, December 14, 2019
LOCATION: SUMMIT YMCA, Triangle Room
COST: $10 per box

The Summit YMCA Togetherhood® program is hosting their 2nd annual Holiday Cookie Walk Bake Sale. A $10 donation will provide you with a choice of delicious traditional homemade cookies in a decorative holiday motif box.

The event lasts as long as the cookies do so be sure to stop by early! Last year we sold over 2000 cookies in under 3 hours.

The events proceeds were raised to benefit the Togetherhood® program, a Summit Area YMCA volunteer-led initiative that allows members to actively engage in social service projects that strengthen community in a positive way.

Here is what people said about last year's event:

"We drove all the way from Bayonne--this is an amazing cookie walk!" said a participating patron. "We are happy to buy holiday cookies to support your Togetherhood® Program." The Junior League of Summit also posted on their Facebook, "Shout out to the amazing Summit YMCA Togetherhood® committee who crushed the first Holiday Cookie Walk today - sold out in under 3 hours!"

“Supporting the Y’s Togetherhood Program by purchasing cookies during the annual Cookie Walk was a win-win! The cookies were yummy (and practically calorie-free, since I shared them with my co-workers), and knowing that every dollar goes toward supporting a program that gives so much back to the community." said Judi Knott of the Summit Free Public Library. "Big shout out to Togetherhood volunteer Maria Card for spreading the word about the Cookie Walk and this very worthwhile program!”

The Summit Area YMCA is grateful for the continued support and enthusiasm with which the community has never failed to come together to support meaningful programs at the Y. “The Togetherhood® program unites members of our community to participate in positive social change and make an impact on peoples’ lives. The Y facilitates this effort by providing a framework that allows volunteers to act on ideas." said Patty Facchinei, Financial Assistance and Branch Volunteer Coordinator.
