At the Summit Area YMCA, we are committed to helping every person reach their full potential through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility–and that includes college students! College is a new, wonderful time in life where you're off on your own, making new friends, making your own schedule, and more often than not, eating whatever you like at the all-you-can-eat dining hall buffets. Or, you may enjoy late night snacking with friends after studying for exams? Or perhaps becoming a regular patron of the greasy foodtruck a block away from the dorm. (Honestly, probably some of the most satisfying kinds of food to enjoy while studying, right?)
Don't let the Freshman 15 (or Sophomore 20, Junior 30 and Senior 40!) catch up to you and join the Y to get back on track to a healthy, productive you!
The Berkeley Heights YMCA and Summit YMCA have a variety of offerings that can help you get fit, on your own or with the help of a trainer!
Get fitness assessments, personal training, access to the state-of-the-art InBody Body Composition Analysis scale, personalized workouts in Activtrax, more than 100+ different group fitness classes and more! Not to mention, an entirely brand new Berkeley Heights YMCA facility for you to enjoy and explore.
