Celebrate National Superhero Day with this 5 Minute Superhero Kids Workout!

April 28, 2019 is National Superhero Day and what better to celebrate it by becoming a superhero yourself!? To celebrate, we at the Summit Area YMCA have produced a 5 minutes superhero kids workout that's perfect to get your heart thumping and kids pumped for the day.

At the Summit Area YMCA, we are dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Whether it be teaching children healthy eating habits through our Healthy U curriculum, teaching them how to exercise and engage in sports through Youth Soccer League or Youth Basketball, teaching children how to swim and much more, we are dedicated to ensuring the health of children in both mind and body!

Featuring a variety of squat, jabs, punches, slices and more, this 5 minute workout will have you soaring with adrenaline like your favorite superheros!

Choreographed by the Summit Area YMCA's talented Sonya P.! Love the workout? Try out more group fitness classes at the Y by checking out our group fitness schedules at www.thesay.org/schedules

About the Summit Area YMCA
The Summit Area YMCA is one of the area’s leading 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Founded in 1886, the Summit Area YMCA has a history steeped in working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income and background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Each year, we serve more than 10,000 individuals with our free and fee-based programs and services in an area spanning the communities of Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Millburn, New Providence, Short Hills, Springfield, Stirling and Summit. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and partners, we are able to offer financial assistance for our programs and services to those with demonstrated need.
