Attention Veterans! Exclusive Membership Offer for the Month of November


Did you know, the Summit Area YMCA offers FREE MEMBERSHIPS to active military and in honor of Veteran's Day, an exclusive offer for Veterans in November to sign up with no joiners fee, and their third month free!

The Summit Area YMCA (which includes the Berkeley Heights YMCA and Summit YMCA) offers a Military Outreach Initiative to address the needs of families of deployed military personnel who live far from a military installation and require access to child development, family strengthening, and health and well-being programming. Eligible military families and personnel include active duty or deployed personnel of the Armed Services, their spouses and families (dependent children). FREE Military memberships are given in 6 month intervals and are renewed by request.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

As a nonprofit, we are committed to enhancing the lives of individuals and families in our community. With the generous donations of members, donors, and partners in the community from funds raised during our Annual Campaign and special events, the Summit Area YMCA is able to offer financial assistance to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Families with low or moderate household income or those who are experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to apply. Financial assistance can be used for membership, child care, summer camp and/or enrichment and sports programs where additional fees apply, such as soccer and swimming lessons.
