In just over a month, the Summit Area YMCA will be hosting its Annual Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Charity Auction and Comedy Night at The Hilton Short Hills, a fundraising event featuring all-star comedians Adam Sank, a Summit native, Veronica Mosey and Sergio Chicon on the evening of November 2.
The annual event raises money to support the Y’s financial assistance program, which ensures that everyone regardless of age, income and background has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at the Y. Proceeds from the event also directly support our community through free and subsidized programs such as college and career mentoring for teens and special needs activities for youth and families, two of the many examples of free programs we offer.
As one of the area’s leading nonprofits, the Summit Area YMCA is committed to serving the diverse needs of the community, for people from all walks of life, at all stages of their lives. Having sold out in 2017 with over 400 in attendance, the event planning committee, under the leadership of Event Chair Laura Gump, is looking forward to another great turnout this year as we say farewell to Adam Sank in his last ever year as LOL Host.
“This event brings our community together and unites us with a common goal; for a better us. Everything the Summit Area YMCA does in its programs, events and services are here to support and uplift our community.” said Paul Kieltyka, President and CEO of the Summit Area YMCA. “This fundraiser will help the Y continue to provide the community with important programs and financial assistance so everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at the Y.”
Tickets are available online at www.theSAY.org/LOL or by contacting Ceci Aristizabal at 908-738-2175 or email@example.com.
The Summit Area YMCA is grateful for the generous support of the LOL sponsors, with special thanks to Platinum Sponsor Capital Group.
