Journey back in time to the Guilded-Age with your friends at the Summit YMCA on Friday, October 5th as we day-trip to Long Island's Gold Coast. This fun-filled all-inclusive excursion includes round-trip bus transportation from Summit, two private exhibit tours and a three-course lunch.
Stroll through the outdoor sculpture garden at the Nassau County Museum of Art and enjoy a private tour of the “True Colors” exhibit which explores the power of color in works from greats like Matisse, Mark Rothko, Frank Stella and more.
Then enjoy a three-course sit-down lunch at the Jolly Fisherman in Roslyn, NY and experience a private docent-led tour of Old Westbury House and Gardens, once home to John S. Phipps and family and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. See fine English antiques and the many decorative arts belonging to the Phipps Family.
