“We believe a free, accessible program is important. Last year we cumulated our year of monthly events with a Special Needs Prom that was one of the best memories we all have from these programs. We are very excited in anticipation for what the coming months hold!”, says Berkeley Heights Youth Program Director Francesca Garrard

“The Fridays in Motion program began in 2017, and was a great success with local teens.” continues Garrard, “We saw a space in the community that needed a program like this, and we are proud to have helped fill the gap. Each month we are excited to have everyone get together to play games, socialize, learn and grow. It’s such a great experience for the teens, the parents and the volunteers alike. We always make sure to have a space for parents to gather if they wish, to spend time meeting new people and new families. The volunteers come from all of our organizations, ranging from High School teens, to adults, to seniors. It’s wonderful to see everyone working and socializing together with this population to make each monthly event fun, memorable and successful.”
