Looking for something fun and safe for your teen to do after school? Join the Teen Center at the Summit Area YMCA. We offer engaging and educational programs, special events, workshops and trips to help teens discover and explore their interests and talents outside the classroom. At the Y, we’re committed to keeping teens involved in a variety of fun activities that not only build healthy bodies, but stronger minds too!

The transitional period between teenager to adulthood can be exciting and sometimes challenging! Whether it be navigating new complicated relationships or figuring out what to do after high school, our trained staff at the Summit Area YMCA can help guide your teen. We can inspire them to learn a new hobby, help get them involved in community projects or prepare for college… The Y is also a safe space for your teen to hang out with their peers, discuss concerns, find solutions and so much more!

About the Summit Area YMCA
The Summit Area YMCA is one of the area’s leading 501(c)3 charitable organizations. Founded in 1886, the Summit Area YMCA has a history steeped in working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income and background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Each year, we serve more than 10,000 individuals with our free and fee-based programs and services in an area spanning the communities of Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Millburn, Springfield, Short Hills, Summit, Gillette, and Stirling. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and partners, we are able to offer financial assistance for our programs and services to those with demonstrated need.
