All NEW HIIT Classes at the Summit Area YMCA

FRIDAY FITNESS FIX INSANITY CARDIO HIIT CARDIO SURGE

 

The Summit area YMCA is proud to announce the addition of a number of new hiit classes to our group exercise class schedule!

This summer, the Summit Area YMCA offers four new and intense HIIT workouts in both our Summit and Berkeley Heights locations. As an organization dedicated to healthy living and wellness which includes fitness, the Summit Area YMCA is excited to offer these new classes that fitness buffs along with anyone wanting to improve their fitness levels should try. While many of these classes are challenging, instructors will provide modifications in movements to make it possible for many fitness levels.

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. Many people, especially those with busy schedules, love HITT because they can get maximum benefits in a short period of time! According to Shape Magazine, “Research shows you can achieve more progress in a mere 15 minutes of interval training (3x week) than the girl jogging on the treadmill for an hour.

FRIDAY FITNESS FIX

Improve your cardio strength by exercising in intervals of cardio bursts! Join Denise C. with a different format every week using equipment such as weights, tubes, stability balls and step. The class is challenging but suitable for all levels!

Follow through and join us Thursday night for Cardio HIIT! High Intensity Interval Training, only 30 minutes, for maximum results! Beware, some say this class is even more challenging than INSANITY!

A high intensity interval training cardio class using your own body weight. This is a quick effective 30-minute class that will drive results - open to all levels of fitness.

INSANITY, a 30 minute class of max interval training and total body conditioning, is designed by legendary fitness trainer Shaun T and taught by Chris Demko who is just as full of energy, to bring you real results and the chance to build the strongest, leanest body of your life! The fact that the moves are easy to modify, fun and challenging, makes INSANITY a great fit for everyone!
