Enjoy this exciting new cutting-edge workout beginning at the Berkeley Heights YMCA in late Spring! This innovative class, open to all ages, promotes join mobility, spinal flexibility, left/right brain coordination and cognitive functioning. Brought to us by Ageless Grace Brain Health Fitness, the only equipment you'll need is the chair you're sitting in and a positive attitude. From a seated position, you'll take part in anti-aging techniques and kinesthetic learning using creative movements, imagery combined with music that will be sure to leave you inspired and refreshed.
Ageless Grace is a cutting-edge brain fitness program based on neuroplasticity that activates all 5 functions of the brain - analytical, strategic, kinesthetic learning, memory/recall, creativity and imagination - while simultaneously focusing on the physical skills needed for lifelong optimal function. The program consists of natural movements designed to be practiced in a chair in order to engage the brain, develop core muscle strength and flexibility, and stimulate the organs and body systems.
