Limited-Time Introductory Fitness Classes Offered at the Berkeley Heights YMCA

Step out of your comfort zone and try something new this Spring.  Three introductory fitness classes will be offered at the Berkeley Heights YMCA for a limited time: Adult Ballet, Strong by Zumba,  and Beginning Group Exercise.  


ADULT BALLET – Discover your inner dancer when you sign up for Adult Ballet with Megan. This 8-WEEK class will focus on the classical technique of ballet in a fun and easy to follow environment. You can expect a full ballet class experience from working at the ballet barre to leaping across the floor! No previous dance experience necessary. Easy to move in clothes and socks or ballet shoes are recommended.

DATE: 4/6 thru 5/25 (8 Fridays)
TIME: 10:30AM-11:30AM

STRONG by Zumba - STRONG by Zumba® is a non-equipment class that combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training (explosive moves). You will burn calories as you tone arms, abs and glutes.
WHEN: 4/20 – 5/11 (4 Fridays)
TIME: 9:15AM-10:15AM
WHERE: Stretching Room

No registration required. Class is free and open to the community.  


BEGINNING GROUP EXERCISE – New to exercising? Try a low impact instructional class that will introduce you to a group exercise class in a no stress atmosphere. Open to all levels but will focus on those who are new to group classes. Be motivated by your peers while having fun and burning calories.

WHEN: 4/5 – 5/24 (8 Thursdays)
TIME: 6:15PM-7:00PM
WHERE: Multipurpose Room
