Ramp Up Your Fitness with three new classes at the Berkeley Heights YMCA!

Spring is the season of renewal and the perfect time to think about fitness!  This Spring, the Berkeley Heights YMCA is pleased to offer three brand-new fitness classes.  

Introduction to Group Fitness Class

For beginners, discover the many benefits of working out in a group through our Introduction to Group Fitness Class.  This 45 minute class will feature low impact instruction in a relaxed atmosphere.  All levels welcome but this fun, introductory class is geared to those new to group exercise. 

When: Thursdays,  April 5 - May 24th, 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm

Where: Multi-Purpose Room, Berkeley Heights YMCA

Strong by Zumba

If you prefer to condition through dance, Strong by Zumba may be just for you!  You'll combine body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training (explosive moves) to burn calories as you tone arms, abs and glutes and get into the groove. This upbeat class uses no equipment. 

When: Fridays 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM, April 20 - May 11

Where: Stretching Room, Berkeley Heights YMCA

 

LesMills BodyPump

If your focus is strength training, consider LesMills BodyPump. BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more! No registration required. 

When: Saturday, March 31st, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Where: Main Gym, Berkeley Heights YMCA
