Sewing and Knitting Workshops Offered at the Berkeley Heights YMCA!

Berkeley Heights, NJ, January 11, 2018 -- At the Summit Area YMCA, we are dedicated to providing all members of our community with opportunities to learn, grow and thrive through our programs and workshops. Learning how to knit or sew can be a life-long skill bringing people of all generations together. It also can be very gratifying to make something with your hands. This winter, the Berkeley Heights YMCA will be offering two workshops, one on each craft, teaching the skills and techniques needed for these two creative and enjoyable hobbies.



Knits and Pieces Knitting Workshop - Learn the basics of knitting or hone your current skills with our knitting expert! Our knitting expert can even assist you with an existing project you may be working on! Moms and daughters, siblings, neighbors are all welcome! Price is per person. Adult Sewing Workshop - Come to the Berkeley Heights this winter for a 3-part workshop to learn the basics of sewing by hand or by machine. Even if you know how to sew, you can create a new project, brush up on your skills, or add to your sewing skill set! Basic supplies included. Feel free to bring additional supplies!
