Pickleball Weekly Games for Adults

At the Summit Area YMCA, we are dedicated to ensuring that individuals of all ages have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. For adults and seniors, taking up pickleball as a sport provides not only healthy exercise and activity, but also allows for positive social interaction. According to the AARP Foundation website Connect2Affect, 17% of adults ages 65 and older are isolated, with 26% of adults with increased risk of death due to subjective feeling of loneliness. In playing pickleball, adults and seniors are able to form fun, meaningful relationships both in and outside of the YMCA while being active and achieving health goals together.

Pickle ball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels! The rules are simple and the game is easy to learn. Come and play with YMCA friends this Fall!
