Join our Fall Youth Soccer Association! Our Youth Soccer Association is the perfect place to build your child’s endurance, enhance their soccer skills and teach the importance of sportsmanship. The Youth Soccer Association of the Summit Area YMCA is a co-ed, noncompetitive youth sports program designed to teach kids age 3 – 8 years old the basics of soccer while building confidence, developing team building skills, expending youthful energy in a positive way. Volunteer parent coaches are able to support their kids and the community by teaching the basic skills of the game.
Children meet each week for recreation at the lower field of Summit High School on Sundays so that busy parents are able to bond with their children on the weekends.
“The YSA is a great place for kids to start their athletic career. They learn individual skills and how to work on a team. They meet new friends and they have fun,” says Volunteer Coach Terry Hayes. “YSA is also a great way for families to meet and get integrated into the community. Allison's work in planning, coordinating, and communicating weekly makes things simple for players, parents and the coaches.”
