LOT OF LAUGHS - ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE
The Summit Area YMCA in keeping tradition alive, is making people laugh for a good cause by hosting its Annual Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Charity Auction and Comedy Show on September 23, 2023—and you're invited! Following three years of record-breaking events, we invite you to help top it again this year.
As our guest, you'll enjoy a memorable evening of laughter, food and drinks in good company with the opportunity to bid on and win a variety of fabulous auction items all in support of the Y. Most importantly, it will be a night of raising funds to further our mission and strengthen our local community. All donations go to the Summit Area YMCA’s financial assistance program, which supports nearly 1,000 local families with free programming and scholarships for child care, memberships, and more. Help fight food insecurity in our neighbors homes, provide a place for cancer survivors to reclaim their health, offer a nurturing environment for children of working families, and more—all by supporting the Summit Area YMCA!

Veteran auctioneer and Emcee Pat Tully, is returning to the LOL stage!
PAT TULLY
Mr. Tully is no wallflower when it comes to igniting a spark in a room and holding the audience’s attention. He is as comfortable on stage with A-list celebrities as he is sincere with cancer patients who share their very personal stories. He works the crowd with ease and grace and he didn’t hesitate when he had the chance to convince Rod Stewart to break into a duet. He has performed live auctions with celebrities including Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jamie Foxx, Adrian Grenier, Kenan Thompson, and many others.
"As a proud member of the YMCA in NYC, I know how important The Y is for my community and the for the people who depend on its services. As an Auctioneer, I was attracted to the event because I thought LOL was an acronym for 'Lots of (auction) Lots' - turns out that it's short for something else. Who knew? INTRODUCING OUR 2023 HEADLINER
PAT MCGANN
Pat McGann is quickly rising as one of the sharpest stand-ups in the comedy world. He hustled his way to become the house emcee at Zanies Chicago, where he distinguished himself as especially adept at working the crowd. A husband and father of 3 young children, Pat’s appeal stems from his quick wit & relatable take on family life & marriage.
In 2017, McGann began touring as the opening act for Sebastian Maniscalco, moving with him from clubs, to theater, and to arenas, including 4 sold out shows at Madison Square Garden. McGann’s relatively short, but impressive resume, includes performances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Montreal’s famed Just For Laughs Festival, Gilda’s LaughFest, The Great American Comedy Festival and the Nashville Comedy Fest. McGann still calls Chicago home.
