Further the growth and development of your preschoolers with camps designed just for them. These are month long camps for children ages 3 through completion of 1st Grade offering a full day, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm program, with breakfast, lunch and snacks included in camp fees.

Adventure Camp

This month-long camp is designed for children ages 4 years to those who have completed 1st Grade. All meals and trips are included in camp fees. We provide breakfast, lunch and a snack. Extended care is available to 7 p.m. for an additional fee.

Children experience the summer in a fun, supportive environment with experienced teachers.  The children will swim at the Summit YMCA and enjoy daily water play.  Daily activities include arts and crafts, talent shows, dance, soccer and baseball clinics, gardening, hiking, summer reading club, writing club, and games.

Camp curriculum is organized around weekly themes and has an outdoor approach.  Themes include:  All Ball, Artful Antics, Animal Planet, Under the Sea, Mad Science, Planes and Trains, Kids in the Kitchen, and Under the Big Top.

Campers will have many opportunities to explore and discover the world around them in a fun, exciting way as they take field trips to support weekly themes.  Field Trips include: Montclair Art Museum, Aviation Hall of Fame, Reeves-Reed Arboretum, The Great Swamp, Bowling, Monster Golf, RVCC Planetarium, Jenkinson Aquarium, Turtle Back Zoo, The Liberty Science Center, and Museum of Natural History.

The Young Explorers Camp

This month long camp is for children ages 3 to 4 years.The Young Explorers is a first camp experience for preschool children. Each week the campers will explore a new theme in a fun, exciting way that combines activities, special events and local field trips. The children will swim at the Summit YMCA and enjoy daily water-play.
