Babysitting Services at
Summit YMCA

Free to Family and Adult Members. Parent must be in the facility. This complimentary service is for the use of Summit Y family and adult members only.

Babysitting Availability:

Mornings (Infants 6 weeks of age to 5 years)

Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Evenings (Infants 6 weeks of age to 10 years)
Monday - Thursday, 4:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
Friday, 4:00 to 8:00 pm

Saturdays (Infants 6 weeks of age to 10 years)
8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Sundays (infants 6 weeks of age to 10 years)
8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Bridge

  • DUPLICATE BRIDGE
    Wednesdays from 12:30pm - 3:00 pm on the 3rd floor.

    Come enjoy a competitive game of duplicate bridge each week with your YMCA friends. Experienced instructor will be on hand to discuss hands.
    Discount packages available for non-members.

  • BRIDGE LESSONS - BEGINNER

    Tuesdays from 12:30pm - 2:30 pm.

    Come enjoy a game of bridge with your YMCA friends. Experienced instructor Jane Grewcock will be teaching this session. Limited number of spots, so please register early.

  • ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION EXERCISE PROGRAM
    One hour chair based class includes stretching, strength training and aerobic conditioning.

  • LUNCH AND LEARN: MAINTAINING MOBILITY AS YOU AGE
    Join licensed physical therapist Matthew Riordan of Professional Physical Therapy and Training, LLC for an informative seminar about maintaining mobility as you age. Matt's lectures are very informative and well attended by our community. Please register early.

  • KNIT AND CHAT

    Join us as we relax together while working on individual knitting projects. Learn to knit, finish items in your knitting basket, create beautiful items for family and friends or get a project back on track. Experienced instructor!

    Class is 1 hour and 30 minutes long.

  • HIGH TEA & MANSION TOUR AT LIBERTY HALL
    When:  Monday, May 5                      

    Time:  1:30PM-4:30PM
    Cost:  $50.00                              
    Where:  Liberty Hall Museum Union, NJ

    Join us for a lovely spring afternoon. Enjoy High Tea at Liberty Hall Museum on the glass-enclosed porch overlooking the formal English parterre gardens. The popular tea service includes a sumptuous selection of scones, assorted pastries, traditional finger sandwiches, and fresh fruit, after tea we will enjoy a private guided tour of the Kean Mansion and gardens and learn about the history of the Kean family. A wonderful Spring Day!! 

    Transportation will be provided from the Summit YMCA.  Register early seating is limited.

Mah Jongg

Join your Summit YMCA friends each Friday for an afternoon of MAH JONGG. Connect with others and engage your mind with this fun, intelligent game that requires your concentration.
